Work is continuing apace to prepare IWA’s first draft 20-year State Infrastructure Strategy ready for release mid-year.

The baseline assessment of agency plans is now complete and, as the program of external discussions and consultation are finalised, work has intensified to put the many proposals, ideas and recommendations through a strategic evaluation process.

IWA's Public Interest Disclosure Procedure provides further guidance on how it will deal and process public interest disclosures, and to act as a means of protecting those who make or are subject to disclosures.

The Western Australian Disability Services Act 1993 that requires State Government authorities to develop and implement a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP).

An agency’s DAIP should further both the principles and the objectives of the Western Australian Disability Services Act 1993. In accordance with this legislation, IWA has developed its first DAIP.

IWA has continued its engagement with its State Agencies Working Group hosting a series of one-on-one sessions with senior leaders called on for their specific knowledge and expertise on cross-sectoral, technical, policy and other non-build matters.

Infrastructure WA recently held its second External Stakeholder Reference Group meeting which brought together peak body leaders to discuss the development of the State Infrastructure Strategy and key opportunity areas for the State.
